Dental Implants

Dental Implants are a great option for missing or broken teeth. Dr. Maher will consult with you to see if this is an option. Dental implants give you natural feeling teeth that are the best thing next to your real teeth. Bring your smile back to your original look and eat the foods you have been missing!

Emergencies

Dental Emergencies can bring acute discomfort and need to be handled immediately.  Whether it is from an injury or decay, we will do our best to give you sound advice and try and ease your pain. We will do our best to save your natural teeth, but if an extraction is needed, we can often time handle that in our office on that visit.

Dentures/Partials

Sometimes due to missing teeth or extractions, a denture or partial might be an option for our patients. Dr. Maher can work with you to decide what is the best form of treatment. If dentures or partials are recommended, you can expect the best possible care.

A denture consists of natural-looking teeth set in a supportive base and can replace a small group of teeth or an entire set of upper or lower teeth.

Veneers

Dr. Edward Maher Jr. is trained and experienced in all types of Cosmetic Dentistry designed to improve your smile. Veneers are thin tooth-colored shells that are attached to the front of the teeth to improve appearance. They can be used to repair chipped or broken teeth, discoloration, or smaller than average teeth. You can place veneers on your front six to eight teeth to give you a great, symmetrical smile.

Bonding/Fillings

Bonding and Fillings are used when a tooth has decay, is worn down, broken, or chipped. These treatments can prolong the life of the tooth and restore its natural shape. Dr. Maher uses composite resin materials that are tooth-colored to resemble your natural teeth.  His experience helps in determining the type of procedure that is best for you.

Teeth Whitening

Dr. Edward Maher Jr. can help restore your teeth to their original color with several types of Teeth Whitening. It is important to have your teeth whitened by a professional dentist where it is safe and usually faster than in-home kits. It doesn’t matter how many shades your teeth need to change. Dr. Maher can handle it in his office safely.

Crowns/Bridges

Crowns are designed to cover an existing tooth that is decaying or on top of a dental implant as a sort of cap. In the case of a decaying tooth, it can keep the tooth from breaking down further, so you can keep your natural teeth longer.

Bridges, on the other hand, are solely used to replace missing teeth. They have two crowns – one on either end – and a bridge of replacement teeth that rest in the area of the gums where there is tooth loss. The crowns at the ends of a bridge can fuse to existing teeth (that need to be filed down by a dental professional to fit correctly), or your dental professional can attach them to dental implants.

Whichever you need, Dr. Maher has the experience to consult with you to determine the best type of treatment that is best for you.
